Amari Dancy, 18, was pulled out by four firefighters after getting stuck in a washing machine during hide and seek game
Concealing herself into the washer, Amari instantly realized she couldn’t get out. The trapped teen admitted yelling out for help. Older relatives at home had to equally phone first responders for assistance.
Over a dozen staff of the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue got to Amari’s home before 11pm. Suni, Amari’s aunt filmed the whole scenario on her phone and uploaded the whole story to Instagram.
A clip showed four firefighters, putting on gloves and masks amid the pandemic, discussing with Dancy as she remains stuck inside the washer machine. ‘Can you turnaround your toes?’ One could be heard asking the teen.
Nevertheless, after Amari was freed, she managed to see a humorous side to the situation. ‘It’s pretty embarrassing and all I can do is to laugh-out-loud. My whole family had a good laugh and as long as I am fine, that’s all that matters at this moment.’ Amari added.
