This Guy Creates the Most Dramatic Liquid Liner Looks on Instagram

When applying liquid eyeliner, there's a fine line between simple flicks and dramatic wings. The main thing that determines your fate is patience (a steady hand helps too). I don't know about you, but I've found myself drawing on longer and longer wings in hopes of making them look more even and sharp. I have to stop myself when they get to the tail of my brows. Makeup artist Albert Bueno, a 24-year-old from Los Angeles, embraces the look wholeheartedly and takes his liner all the way to his hairline (and beyond). Better know as @buec on Instagram, his 12,900 Instagram followers live for his dramatic liquid liner, too.

"Originally, it started as a wing that reached my temple," Bueno tells Allure. "I bought the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner, so I was just testing it out. [The look] got a lot of attention, so I challenged myself to keep making it longer and longer." That liquid liner is used in basically all of his Instagrammed looks, BTW. I recently saw someone caption this picture with "Friends: You're so extra. Me:." I feel spiritually connected to that.Bueno first started doing makeup when he was around 18 or 19. "I started doing clown makeup, he says. And that's not just a joke, he was actually a clown. These days, he just likes experimenting with makeup.

"I am not currently a makeup artist, but it is a dream of mine," Bueno explains. "I really enjoy doing it, so hopefully one day I can do makeup as my profession." Honestly, he could have told us he was a professional, and we would have believe him. Just look at these geometric looks.Bueno's talents aren't limited to dramatic black eyeliner. One of my personal faves of his creations actually doesn't involve it at all. Instead, it's all about flower-shaped sequins. I may or may not try recreating this look for my friend's wedding this summer.
