
Did you know that colorless rainbows exist? It’s called a fog bow and (like the name suggests) the phenomenon appears not in the rain, but in the fog instead. The colors are weak, because the tiny [post_ads]water droplets are much smaller than actual rain drops. Not only did British photographer Melvin Nicholson see one, he managed to take a photo of it as well! He was walking around in Rannoch Moor, Scotland, when a white rainbow appeared over a lone tree in the chilly landscape. The breathtaking shot was taken with a Canon 5DS and a Canon 16-35mm f/4 lens at 16mm, f/8, 1/1000s, and ISO 100.
