Half-Skull Self-Portrait
It's not often that an artist attempts to draw a half-skull self-portrait of himself, however Ramon Bruin has certainly proved just how talented he really is! It's hard to imagine that the frame has actually been drawn on - it looks completely three-dimensional! We would love to see this artist's exhibition.

Born As An Artist
We think this artwork is certainly saying something about Ramon Bruin - he was born as an artist after all! One fascinating thing about this artwork is the fact that one of the hands has actually been drawn on, and the artist has then placed his thumb in front of the sketched fingers to add that extra realistic and 3D effect!

Japanese Dragon
Here is yet another 3D masterpiece by artist Ramon Bruin that is going to blow your mind! We are always particularly impressed by the drawings that require two pieces of paper, as we believe these optical illusions would by far be the hardest to pull off correctly. Breathtaking!

Deer Skull
The term 'deer skull' might make shivers run down your spine, but looking at this 3D artwork, it truly is a masterpiece! We would certainly not mind hanging this on our wall any day. The artist claims that this drawing was originally intended as a tattoo design for a client! Amazing.

Tug-O-War
The talented artist behind these mind-blowing 3D drawings goes under the professional name of JJK Airbrush. His real name, however, is Ramon Bruin and his sketches are taking the world by storm. We love this 3D drawing which features a self-portrait of the artist himself as he holds a life-size pencil. Simply brilliant! They say drawing realistic portraits is always one of the hardest things to do, but we think Ramon Bruin has done a fantastic job.

An Unusual Day
The artist used a staggering five sheets of paper to complete this awesome 3D drawing! This drawing is impossible to view as a flat surface (even though it is), so this talented artist has certainly achieved something amazing. We love how this sketch looks like a pile of magazines and other 3D surfaces such as buildings, train tracks and bullets. We find the drawing of the pages to be particularly impressive!

Rising Skull
The artist claims that this piece is unfinished, but we still think it looks amazing! Just imagine what the final product will look like. Just in case you hadn't already noticed, the artist has even designed his signature as a 3D image. Truly amazing! This portrait is definitely not for the faint of heart - That skull is more than a little freaky...

Newborn Serpentism
The artist has given this artwork the title, Newborn Serpentism, and it isn't hard to see why. Just look at those tiny serpents hatching from their eggs! The best thing about this 3D sketch is the way it teases your brain. Did you know that this sketch was drawn on 3 sheets of A4 paper? The paper is lying on a wooden floor, but the artist has actually sketched some wooden floorboards to form part of the artwork. Is there anything this artist can't do?

Boredom Killer
Artist Ramon Bruin states that he completed this artwork as a boredom buster. If only we could all complete such wonderful works of art when we're bored! These planes look so realistic, and we especially love their drop-shadows - an element that adds that extra 3D touch. It is artworks such as this one that emphasizes why Ramon Bruin is one of the most famous and popular 3D artists.

Monster
The artist states, "I always turn into a monster when I do not know what to draw". We love this 3D sketch, especially because it contains some color to really bring it to life! How does one possess the talent to create this amazing and realistic effect? The artist has even gone to the trouble of photographing his artwork with the sleeves of a shirt, just for extra realism.

Tattoos And Formulas
Now this artwork will certainly amaze you! Take a closer look at it and you will begin to see why. Everything featured in this artwork is either hand-painted or drawn. That's right! Those realistic-looking pencils? They've been painted. The wooden tabletop? That's been painted too! We can honestly say that our mind has been blown.

Little Monster
There's a very cute story behind this artwork! The artist states: "My 5 year old nephew drew me a very cool monster! I've made him 3D and alive, but I just can't compete with his talent!" We think this is a great idea, and we're sure Ramon's nephew would have been thrilled with his new creation coming to life. As for Ramon not being able to compete with his nephew's talent? Well, lets just say every artist has their own unique style!
14
Maddie, Boots & Lucy
The artist's subject matter seems a little different in this 3D drawing. But who could complain? Everyone loves kittens after all! These cats certainly look very realistic, and it is never easy to portray animals in such a detailed way. We especially love the inclusion of the butterflies - Very sweet! The artist even managed to include some 3D text. Very impressive indeed.

Dog Tag
This artwork is titled Dog Tag, and it certainly has our minds blown. Remember, everything here has been drawn, except the artist's hovering hand of course. The smoking bullet, the dog tag, and the chain that seems to be coming up from the page? It's all a very clever optical illusion of course! If only we knew how to draw such works of art ourselves!

Inspector Hare
You've heard of Inspector Gadget, now meet Inspector Hare! This curious bunny looks like he wouldn't leave a stone unturned in his search for answers. The trick to achieving 3D drawings of a high-quality is perspective, and artist Ramon Bruin certainly knows all about it! You'd be forgiven for thinking that his drawings had come to life and jumped off the page.

Guitar Lovers
This 3D drawing is for all of you guitar lovers out there! We've been fascinated with this drawing since laying eyes on it, and the guitar just looks like it's sitting there, waiting to be picked up and played. This really is an optical illusion at its finest! Remember, all drawings would have been created with the paper lying flat, so for the artist to achieve such realistic depth and perspective is mind-blowing.

Keep Fishing
This artwork, titled Keep Fishing, is one of the artist's earlier works. Here, he has experimented with depth and proportion in order to create a realistic drawing of a man fishing from a platform above a river. Even earlier on, it was evident that Ramon had immense talent, and we're so happy that he chose to share it with the rest of the world!
