Nothing completes an outfit quite like a good watch. People that love to dress to the nines will tell you that what’s on your wrist can be the most important part of your outfit. You don’t see many millionaires and billionaires wearing a $15 Casio watch, that’s for sure. Instead, the watches of the rich and famous cost more than the average house in Los Angeles.
As a matter of fact, all of these watches (a minimum $1 million each) cost more than twice the price of an average house in Los Angeles. You would think that at seven figures, these watches would shoot lasers or make direct calls to the president. Instead, they just tell time and look really good when you wear them.
These watches also don’t sync to your phone, so unfortunately you aren’t able to take any calls on them— but you will see that they are stunning. If you were able to get one, you may opt not to wear the watch at all since it’s just so luxurious.
So if you want a watch that would impress even James Bond, then you will need at least $500,000 just to put down a deposit to pre-order one. If you don’t have that kind of cash, then you can just look at these watches for free. Here are the seven watches we found with the highest price tags in the world.

#6 – Hublot Classic Fusion Haute Joaillerie ($1 Million)
Hublot-Classic-Fusion-Haute-JoaillerieThe Haute Joaillerie doesn’t look like your average watch. Besides the extreme opulence, there are no numbers to be seen and the face of the watch is see through. It’s a good thing, too, because it would be hard for the watches hands to move through all of the jewels. There are nearly 1,200 diamonds on this watch, and there isn’t a single part that’s not covered in diamonds. It took 2,000 hours of labor to create. This watch barely looks like it tells time, so many would consider it to be a $1 million bracelet. Still, it looks really cool.
#5 – Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica Grande Sonnerie ($1.47 Million)
It takes more than 1,300 working parts to make this watch tick, making it a true masterpiece to patience. There are diamonds on this watch, but they aren’t covering it (so they aren’t overly obnoxious.)
The strap is made of pure leather, so it’s functional and still looks good. This watch will tell you the time, the date, the month, and even the phase of the moon. The coolest feature is that it makes the same sound that the Big Ben clock in London does at noon. You may want to turn that option off if you’re in a meeting.

#4 – Vacheron Constantin Tour de I’lle ($1.54 Million)
Only seven of these watches were ever made to celebrate the semiquincentennial of the company. For those that don’t speak Latin, you can just call it the 250th anniversary. There are more displays on the watch than moons of Jupiter and a face on both the front and back to accommodate them. All in all, there are thousands of working parts that make this watch the finest crafted one on the list.
If you ever need to know what time it is in any part of the world or what time the sun is going to set in East India, then you can probably find that out on the Tour de I’lle. The name doesn’t quite translate to anything, that’s just the brand name of the watch.
#3 – Greubel Forsey Art Piece 1 ($1.6 Million)

#3 – Greubel Forsey Art Piece 1 ($1.6 Million)
The Art Piece 1 is literally that, an art piece. You may not know it, but there is a convention each year where the finest watches are put on display and new ones are announced. Think of it as, E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) is to video games what the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie), is to watches. It’s not really televised, but it’s still prestigious.
That’s the convention in which the Art Piece 1 was debuted, and it was created by Willard Wigan. It isn’t too flashy, and offers a look inside of the complicated workings of the watch.
#2 – Richard Mille RM 56-01 ($1.85 Million)

#2 – Richard Mille RM 56-01 ($1.85 Million)
The RM 56-01 also made its debut at the 2013 SIHH, which was not a surprise as it came from the Richard Mille line. Richard Mille also makes a watch more expensive than this, but we’ll get to that in a moment.
What makes the RM 56-01 so special is that the entire casing of the watch is made of sapphire. While some expensive watches are plated with gold and glass, the sapphire is unique and looks like one of those old see-through computers. Do you remember when those Mac computers were all the rage back in the late 1990’s? This is the watch equivalent of that computer.
#1– Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 56-02 Sapphire ($2.02 Million)

One year later at the 2014 SIHH, Richard Mille one upped none other than…Richard Mille. While the RM 56-01 is the equivalent of the old Mac computers, the RM 56-02 is the equivalent of the overblown sequel with an enormous budget.
Just like a movie sequel, it’s pretty much the same idea with just a couple of tweaks to make it different enough to earn more money. The case is also made of sapphire, but a few diamonds were added to make it unique from the previous one. It’s “The Hangover: Part II” of watches.
