Yes, that’s a rat and he has recently been voted on the internet as the most determined animal in the world. The video taken on Sunday, perfectly captures what its like to be a New Yorker.
Filmed by Matt Little in the East Village, the video follows a rat attempting to carry an entire slice of pizza in his mouth while climbing down the the stairs to the First Avenue L train. Unfortunately, even though the rat made it most of the way down he did eventually drop the pizza and scurry away.
Shortly after the video was posted this rat became a social media sensation earning the hashtag, #PizzaRat.
