Watch the video below as, daredevil Gregg Godfrey jumped his semi-truck more than 166 feet to set a new world record, which was set at the Evel Knievel Days in Butte, Montana. Gregg beat the old record by more than 100 feet. Watch as the truck soars in the air over the jump to shatter the previous held record.
In an Instagram post Gregg mentioned that he was supposed to only jump 140, but instead cleared 166! We don’t know if Gregg is exactly sane, but he sure is amazing for having cleared the entire jump in one movement.
After landing successfully, he said “I hit so hard, I think I’m concussed, I don’t think I’m all there.” About 2,000 people turned out for the event at the Evel Knievel Days and there were three world records broken that day.
